This is my 1st post in this blog where it mark my new journey in Affiliate Marketing. I like to dedicate this to all that I love and especially to the 2 special people of my life,Trina and Little Tricia whom will be supporting me in various aspects and to go through this with me from now on.......thank you so much!
How it begin?
What is my motivation?
Where and from whom did I get the inspiration from?
Why did I choose this?
By writing this important note here in my 1st post serves as a reminder for myself when this journey gets tougher or if I ever lose my zest into building this business one day. Or I must say, I wish to record this important prime point of mine. When I look back, I will be glad that I have started it and have made it a towering success.
Well, it all started when I came across the following article about a month ago when it really caught my attention.
Though its an article that was published in April 2007, I had missed it then. It's indeed inspiring to see the success story from this Singapore home grown Entrepreneur who established his Internet Empire from zero and now making a profitable 5 figure income monthly. His name is Ewen Chia.
Why did this news report strike me? Basically, there are 4 reasons:
1st- He is a Singaporean. I have seen many Internet Success and big names like Mike Filsaime, Eric Rockefeller etc. But all these big gurus always seem too far from reach. I'm greatly motivated to know that I have a local example that I can follow closely and could possibly duplicate his success as we both live in the same environment.
2nd- He is also in his 30s. Though comparing our age, I could have started later at this stage, but I believe in building....yes, building up a foundation for long term. If I procrastinate further, I may not even start off anywhere. Even with efforts input, there maybe no guarantee of output. What more if I don't have any input of efforts??? There will be nothing that I can look forward to.
3rd- He was in Credit Cards debts of $16K when he started his Business. Well, you have guessed it. I'm also in Credit Cards debts amounting to $15K and still running. Thanks to Trina who helps me with managing my accounts, I'm able to be in control of it now. I believe within this year I can resolve all the basic financial issues, to build this business, to save and to plan for my future concretely.
4th- We are both in the Telecommunication Industry. Of course, for Ewen it is already the past when he worked with MobileOne (M1), a local Telecommuication and Network Service Provider. For me, I'm with a local Telecommunication company, where I market branded PABX and IP phone systems to end users.
Well, this marks my 1st chapter of this Journey.....
I will be posting my impressions on my contact with Ewen and how I feel about his products and more.....
My Journey has just begun and it shall not cease.
